It has been too hot to play outside, and Faith has been so restless these past few days. So I grabbed the diaper bag, and we headed to the library! This was her first time there. It was a brand new experience for her. So many books, blocks, puzzles, and stuffed animals. Kids! There was one little boy only a month older than her :)
It was so sweet seeing them interact. Faith walked up to him and tried to lean in to kiss him, but she doesn’t have full control of her walking yet, and she ended up bumping into him because she couldn’t stop! He also tried walking up to her and hugging her, but both of their balance was off, and again they mostly just bumped into each other. Then, the little boy hit her on the head with a toy car. It wasn’t hard, and his mom stopped him, but Faith got her feelings hurt :( She wasn’t expecting that at all. A frown started forming on her face. I picked her up but the tears came. She is so sensitive. Luckily I distracted her from her crying quickly enough. There was just so much to see and do at the library.
Here is a little gnome Faith pointed out to me hiding in a flower pot.
She really enjoyed playing with everything she could get her hands on.
After a while, it was just me and Faith in the children’s room. So I let her roam wherever she liked, and took a video.
And more photos to remember her special day :)
I hope I’ve created a book worm for life ♥
