I just went to the garbage dump. In the trash bag was the last of my frozen breast milk. It’s been 4 months since I weaned Josephine, and I finally got myself to toss away those last drops of early motherhood. I wanted to cry. For me this was closing a chapter of my life that will never re-open. I won’t be having anymore children, so tossing away my breastmilk was very hard!
