Christmas cookies and one big fat ornament ♥

I’ve finally finished making Christmas cookies! I still have a little more baking to go, but at least the cookies are DONE!

I also made some homemade white chocolate dipped pretzel sticks.  They are so yummy!

A couple days ago we had our first snow storm of the season.  The wind was so bad, look what it did to my wreath!

The day after Christmas, we are suppose to get another snow storm.  They are predicting up to 9″ of snow this time!  Aaron is out right now grocery shopping so we don’t need to go out after the storm arrives.

I just love taking Christmas pictures, and here is another one I would like to share with you all ♥

My neighbor, Linda, came by today and gave us such a beautiful gift.  I love this snowman!  It comes with a flickering candle, and it has the most beautiful Christmas glow!  Take a look!

I also want to share this ultra-cute video with you ♥

Faith is 5 Months Old Today ♥

Faith has learned a lot this month.  She can easily roll over onto her tummy now.  She is babbling away like crazy, and is starting to say “mama” and “dada” although she has no idea what those words mean, yet.   I was able to get a quick video of her saying “mama!”

She recognizes her own name now.  When we call her, she will turn to look at us. And she is also starting to sit upright by herself, at least for a little while before she topples over :)

She has mastered the art of grabbing things.  She can move things from hand to hand with ease.  She also lets go of things just to see where they drop and what sound it makes when hitting the floor.   She has great hand dexterity… just in time for Christmas!  I can’t wait to see her first attempt at opening presents!

Here is a video of baby’s progress at 5 months…

I am excited about starting solids foods with her next month when she’s 6 months old, and I will continue breastfeeding her until she is 1 year old.   I can’t wait for her to experience pureed fruits and veggies!   So many textures and flavors!  It is going to be so much fun!

She is such a joyful baby.  She is always smiling, and her face lights up when she sees me or her daddy ♥   She is a charmer.  She has perfected the art of facial expression, and she knows how to make the sweetest baby gurgles and coos I have ever heard.  Even her slobbery, bubbly raspberries are adorable.

5 months old has went by too fast!  It is a fast moving roller coaster of new experiences and emotions, and we are loving every minute of it!  Thank you Lord for our 5 month old bundle of joy ♥
