I’m in love with this new recipe ♥ IN LOVE!!!

I saw this cute and easy recipe idea floating around Facebook and Pinterest and decided to try it out ….. Oh my gooooodness.  I’m in HEAVEN!

It’s so easy.  Just 3 ingredients!

1. A can of apple pie filling

2. A can of crescent rolls

3. A bottle of caramel sauce

Unroll the crescent dough.

Place a spoonful of apple pie filling on the widest part of the crescent roll triangle.

Roll up, while pinching the sides together as you roll.

Then sprinkle with a little cinnamon and sugar.

Bake at 350 until golden brown.

Drizzle with caramel sauce, and enjoy!

Or add a scoop of vanilla ice cream to go with it!

Next, I think I’ll try cherry pie filling!  With whip cream on top!  You guys have to try this!

Chewy Molasses Cookies

While Faith was napping, I made some cookies for my hubby… and me :)

Dry ingredients:

  • 1 ¾ cups unbleached all-purpose flour
  • ½ tsp ground cloves
  • ½ tsp ground ginger
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ½ tsp baking soda

Wet ingredients:

  • 12 tbsp melted butter
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • ¼ cup molasses
  • 1 large egg

Wet + Dry = Yummy Batter

350 degrees for 10 minutes.  Makes about 24 cookies.

I love the smell of cinnamon, ginger, cloves, and molasses.Faith woke up to the sweet smell of warm molasses cookies.  Aaron lulled her back asleep ♥
