August – The Booby Month

August is National Breastfeeding Month.  I have to say, I’ve learned alot about breastfeeding since I became a first time mommy in July.  I can appreciate why The United States Breastfeeding Committee officially declared that August is National Breastfeeding Month last August 2011.I saw these “boobie beanies” while browsing.  Cute :)  I totally love this idea! A great way to support and encourage breastfeeding! ♥

It’s a Girl Movie

I just came across a post on Facebook about a documentary coming out soon in select locations only.

I was holding back tears as I watched this video…

I was breastfeeding my daughter as I watched this video.  Looking down at her sweet little face, and her big blue eyes looking up at me with only love and wonder … I can’t imagine ever harming a single hair on her head.  An innocent baby … girl or boy … a small harmless human being with only the simplest desire to be nourished and loved.

Gendercide needs to be STOPPED.  Get involved.  Learn more at it’s a girl and add your name to the manifesto.
