Dark Molasses Pumpkin bread. I used my leftover pumpkin puree from the pumpkin pie I made. It smells so good. It’s like eating a gingerbread house!
- 1 1/2 cups flour
- 2 1/4 teaspoons cinnamon
- 1 1/2 teaspoons ginger
- 3/4 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1/2 teaspoon clove
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 3/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon baking powder
- 6 tablespoons softened butter
- 2/3 cup molasses
- 2 eggs
- 1 1/2 cups pumpkin
- 1/4 cup milk
- 3/4 teaspoon vanilla
- Mix first 8 ingredients.
- Mix butter and molasses until lightened.
- Beat in the eggs, then add the pumpkin puree.
- Add milk and vanilla.
- Bake in a greased loaf pan at 350 for about an hour.
- Let cool before removing from pan.
